Watchmaker offered to install a new battery into a used watch that had always worked perfectly until its battery died. Unfortunately, the so-called 'new' battery was just as dead as the original one--except that (to my knowledge, anyway...) it had never been used. For the price it cost me, it wasn't worth pursuing, leaving me with the feeling that I've been had. Very, very disappointed in this, one of my first purchases ever on Amazon.com. Is this typical?
