This battery has one possible use as replacement for discontinued mercury batteries, many of which were used in old SLR cameras. My particular camera originally needed RM400R or E400 mercury battery. Energizer 387S perfectly replaces it, identical in size, similar in power over time profile and though slightly different in voltage (1.55 vs. 1.3 of mercury cells) it does not change camera light meter response (tested extensively and calibrated) in my old Fujica 701S.
Performance deserves Energizer "bunny ad" ...
To reflect first reviewer note, I live in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the USA and I still couldn't find this particular battery in stores anywhere within 100 miles. For some reason even specialized stores (batteries, watches, cameras,...) do not carry it. Glad to find them on Amazon!Get more detail about Energizer 387S Low-Drain 1.55V Silver-Oxide Button Cell Battery.
