I have been buying these before (from Microcenter). They are very cheap and I thought it was a very good deal. Particularly their 2600mAh for 5 bucks! But...

Cons:
-Of all the NiMh batteries I tried. This has the most number of failures. Some just dies. Some would hold very low charges after just a few cycles.
-It is bigger in circumference compared to other batteries. Which will not fit some of my cameras and gadgets.
-Exterior is made of paper and gets easily smashed, deformed.

Pros:
-Price. but for this kind of quality... not worth it.

Also: With all the new low discharge batteries flooding the market (Eneloops, Rayovacs, Duracell, Kodak, etc.) There is no longer any reason to buy this kind of batteries. Even this company is now manufacturing their own Hybrio.

I am having troubles getting the alkaline batteries to work in some of my "alkaline" items at home. I am not sure what the trouble is. I need to research this part a bit more. I don't know if the batteries in general are not the same V. than my older ones rechargeable batteries or what. The alkaline ones are not working with like our thermostat for our furnace. They do work in some of the remotes. Both need Alkaline. They seem to be good batteries if the item in our house will work with that alkaline battery, it is confusing why all the items don't work with alkaline when needed.

I also purchased the same exact battery but different size - AAA and had troubles with several not holding a charge or not even charging the battery. THere were several that wouldn't even charge from the batch. It could have just been a glich in assembly or something. I know nothing is perfect and errors happen where it is broken. Amazon is going to refund me they said.

I bought a new universal battery charger and had the batteries charged up. There were several that the light wouldn't come on in the charger and never did. I also use our battery tester and there was no charge.

I contacted Amazon and they sent an email they will refund me for the faulty batteries. I need to buy some more alkaline batteries and will try the Juice ones again as I haven't found many "alkaline rechargeable batteres" out on the market. I am not sure why they will not work the same as the older alkaline rechargeable batteries I had back from the 80's. Yes they are just now wearing out and I am having to replace the batteries. I have both types of batteries as several different items we use batteries either need alkaline or NIMH.... So I will search for more Alkaline batteries.

It was a sad day when my Bose Wave Radio remote went dead. I wanted to turn on ESPN1000 and check the game scores, but the remote just wouldn't respond. It works because it heats of the battery and allows it to recover a small amount of stored charge) just long enough to turn on the radio and check the scores. Then I immediately logged into Amazon and used my superior understanding of electronics pricing to snag a couple replacement batteries for a 1/3 of the cost of just driving to Radio Shack.

For the price of just two USBCELL, you can buy a good charger+battery package (such as the Sanyo USB Charger or Sanyo Travel Charger). This way, you get much greater battery capacity and shorter charging time. For anything that requires more than two AA cells, the USBCELL solution becomes even less cost-effective.

It is also true that using USBCELL instead of disposable alkaline cells can reduce your 'carbon footprint' on this planet. But the same can be said for any rechargeable batteries. Compared to a typical AA NiMH cell, the USBCELL requires more energy to produce, and has a shorter lifespan (lower capacity means it has to be recharged more often). Therefore it generates more waste in the end.

I wanted to know how much mAhs it will pack after a discharge; each AA battery averages around 1475 mAhs on discharge. So, that's how much it has out of the box. Charging them, I got an average of 2050mAh. Not bad, not far with the rest of the guys.

The way they are marketing these batteries is a mystery. The package says ready-to-use and rechargeable, but you will not know that unless you look closer where it is written smaller on the side like a fineprint.
